Energy consultancy in Tenerife and Canary Islands to help you pay less for electricity
We help you lower your electricity bill. We assess your case, compare market rates, and tell you plainly whether you can save and how much.
On an island, all the energy spending of your home or business is concentrated in the electricity bill. That's why every mistake in the contract ends up costing you twice, and why it's worth having it reviewed by someone who knows the Canarian power system and the retailers that genuinely operate here.
The fixed part of your bill has gone up this year. And it can be fixed
The 2026 regulatory changes have made the fixed part of the bill more expensive: the power term weighs more, and you pay that every month even if you don't switch anything on.
The good news is that it's exactly the easiest thing to fix. If you're contracted for more power than you use — and most people are — you're paying for thin air, and that adjustment is a permanent saving, not a temporary discount.
What we actually do
We review your bill, compare the rates of the retailers operating in the Canary Islands, and tell you which one suits you based on your real consumption, not on what someone else is trying to sell.
If your contracted power needs adjusting, we adjust it. If it's worth switching companies, we handle the paperwork. And if there's an issue or a claim down the line, we fight it for you instead of leaving you an hour on the phone with customer service.
It works the same for a home, a shop, or a residents' association.
Why don't we charge you anything?
It's the first question everyone asks, and rightly so: when something's free, you look for the catch.
There isn't one. We get paid by the retailer you end up contracting with, just like an insurance broker gets paid by the insurer and not by you. You don't put in a single euro, either upfront or at the end.
And since we work with several companies at once, we don't depend on placing you with any one in particular. If your numbers show you're better off staying where you are, we'll tell you.

Solar self-consumption energy in Tenerife
If you want to take the step, solar energy is the most profitable option in the Canary Islands: the sun works for you here for more than 3,000 hours a year, well above the national average.
Advantages of solar energy in the Canary Islands:
- Generate your own energy making the most of the island's subtropical climate.
- Turn the surplus you don't use into credit and deduct it from your bills.
- Cut your bill noticeably.
- Build up credit from what you don't consume and deduct it even on other bills of yours.
Do you run a business? This is where we really make a difference
For a business, comparing rates isn't enough. The electricity you'll consume in two or three years is already being priced today, and that price changes daily.
Almost every business locks in its contract on the day it happens to renew. They buy when their paperwork expires, not when the market is cheap. We watch the forward market and lock in, in stages, when it makes sense, so your cost doesn't depend on the date you signed or the next political shift.
Frequently asked questions
What is an energy consultancy and what does an advisor do?
It's a service that analyses your electricity consumption so you pay less. An energy advisor reviews your contract and rates and spots where your money is leaking out: excess contracted power, a rate that doesn't fit your schedule, or charges that shouldn't be there. They then propose what to change, handle the process, and check that what was agreed is actually applied. It works the same for a home, a business, or a residents' association.
Is it really free?
Yes. We don't charge you for advice: we get paid by the retailer you end up contracting with, the same way an insurance broker gets paid by the insurer. If you decide not to change anything, it doesn't cost you anything either.
Why is my electricity bill so expensive?
Almost always for three reasons, and none of them have to do with how much you use: contracted power above what you actually need, a rate that doesn't match your real schedule, and automatic renewals nobody's looked at again. These are things fixed in the contract, not by switching off light bulbs.
What taxes apply to electricity in the Canary Islands?
Electricity is taxed through IGIC: 0% for homes with up to 10 kW of contracted power and 3% for other supplies. It's one of the reasons the bill here has its own structure and is worth having reviewed by someone who knows it.
Will I be left without power if I switch companies?
No. Switching retailer is an administrative process: nobody comes to your home, the installation isn't touched, and the supply is never interrupted. You keep the same distributor and the same meter; the only thing that changes is who bills you.
What should I do if an energy consultancy calls me?
Don't decide anything on the spot. Ask for the company's details and check that it exists and is registered before giving out any personal or contract information.
